Judaic Studies

At Legacy, we offer a holistic approach to education, where students are nurtured spiritually, socially, emotionally and academically. Our signature warm and caring environment, our dedicated and loving teachers, and our commitment to supporting each student allows all students to thrive.

 

 

We begin our school day with a division wide “morning circle.” We watch a Rebbe video, say Perek Mem Alef and sing our weekly niggun. Morning Circle sets the tone for a day of learning, belonging, connection and prepares our students for davening. Throughout the morning, our students learn Chumash, Navi, Parsha, Halacha, Sichos, Chassidus, and Yahadus. Our  thoughtfully designed and student centered classes have our students excited to learn. Having gained foundational knowledge and skills at Legacy, our students are well equipped to succeed in high school and beyond; but, more importantly, they grow into inspired adults.

Torah and chassidus is not just what we learn, but how we live. Through Tzivos Hashem, Chidon, special programming for each Yom Tov and Yamei Depraga, farbrengens, Melave Malkas and more, our  students are alive with passion and excitement. Additionally, students from Legacy visit the senior home weekly and form special bonds with the seniors over the course of the year. Our comprehensive and rich extracurricular programs give each student a chance to shine.  Through all of our learning and programs, we strive to imbue each student with a deep love and commitment to Yiddishkeit that they will, with Hashem’s help, carry their whole lives.
